About

Built by operators, for operators.

The shop

We’re Rose Ryder.
Built by operators.

We come from inside a Philadelphia hospitality group — ten hotels and a dozen restaurants. Years running finance and operations: monthly close, P&L ownership, vendor selection, capital allocation. The unglamorous, load-bearing parts of running a real business.

Over those years we sat across the table from countless agencies pitching websites, software, marketing services. The pattern is so consistent it’s become a tell. They lead with their case studies. They speak in design jargon. They sell you a deck. And they have no idea what your business actually does or how it makes money.

We built this studio because the operators we know — restaurateurs, contractors, dentists, lawyers, accountants — are getting the same bad pitch we got. They’ve built real businesses, and their digital surface is dragging them down. Most of them know it. They just don’t know who to trust.

Working with us is different because we’ve sat in the buyer’s chair. If your website doesn’t convert, we notice. If your PPC isn’t paying back, we notice. If your invoice doesn’t make sense, we notice — because we’ve spent years processing those conversations from your side of the table.

You get a vendor who has actually been the buyer.

Principles

How we work.

01

Operator-to-operator.

I’ve sat across the table from a vendor who didn’t understand my P&L. That conversation isn’t happening in my studio.

02

Numbers, not awards.

Cost per acquisition. Lifetime value. Payback period. That’s the language. Design awards are a side effect, not the goal.

03

Specific, not generic.

“Modernize your digital presence” is what consultants sell. We sell “your SSL expired six months ago and Chrome is blocking your homepage.”

04

Ship.

Most agencies are perfectionists with your timeline and clock-watchers with your budget. We’re neither. We ship work that’s 95% there and iterate from real data.
